Today, Inc. Magazine released its inaugural Power Partner Awards, a list highlighting the best B2B companies from around the world. Out of thousands of applicants, INK is one of only a dozen PR and marketing agencies named an Inc. Power Partner, and the only one to specialize in B2B tech and energy communications. By the magazine’s account, “a Power Partner is that extra muscle or additional expertise that is crucial to the success of the clients who rely on you, and to the success of the larger economy as well.”
“This award is particularly sweet as it speaks to our belief that everything’s better in partnership – proactive, ‘be there before’ partnership,” said Starr Baker, INK CEO and founder. “And this award shows that belief is not just talk – our clients weighed in on how much we truly walk the walk. How cool is that?”
Companies were evaluated on commitment, reliability, trust, creativity, supportiveness, and other virtues that offer value to clients. Inc. also conducted surveys to gather client testimonials as part of the process and partnered with leading global social and media intelligence platform Meltwater to translate sentiment from online conversations into numerical scores.
“Trusted B2B partners provide guidance and expertise that founders rely on at various steps of their organization’s journey. Partners that possess a demonstrated ability to deliver quality support are at the core of entrepreneurship and help bring big ideas to life,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc.
Over the past decade, INK has been selected for nearly 60 honors, spanning recognition of the larger agency, our workplace culture, specific campaigns, and individual contributors. And that includes being named to Inc.’s Best Workplaces in 2019 and 2022, as well as the Inc. 5000 in 2017 and 2018.
“An award for being a great partner? That’s a first and we’re enormously proud to have that aspect of our business recognized. This is what we’re all about at INK – doing good work with good people to make a bigger impact on the world than we could ever have on our own,” said Kari Hernandez, INK CSO and founder. “Thank you to all our clients for their trust and partnership over the years, and to our talented INKers who bring that ‘muscle and expertise’ every. damn. day.”
